ICD-10 Chapter V (F)

Editorial

The World Health Organisation's (WHO) International Classification of Diseases in the tenth Version (ICD-10) of was only available as a textbook. New computerised hypertext systems like the World Wide Web in Internet give the possibility to develop a totally new interactive way to use the diagnostic classification not only as a lexicon but interactive as a forum for discussion and for electronic publishing. This is more than books will ever be able to do.

But there are several technical, logical and other questions:

What is the ICD-10 Internet version able to do, what a book cannot do?

With the presentation of this project we want to show some of the facilities of the ICD-10 Internet version.

The interactive forum called ICD-10 Chapter V (F) newsgroup will hopefully initiate discussion, exchange of information in research and will be a source of actual arguments in diagnostics as well as a help for diagnostic problems. All this is accessible world-wide very quickly and easily.

This interactive ICD-10 forum is a challenge to use it.

If you have comments, questions and suggestions concerning ICD-10 Chapter V (F) use the newsgroup as a discussion forum!

Depending on your active participation actual and different information will be available.

On the next pages you will see the interactive ICD-10 Chapter V (F).

We are also thankful for new suggestions to improve the ICD-10 hypertext. Please don't hesitate to make your comments (e.g. new links)
